Tomislav Fačini

Tomislav Facini (1975, Zagreb) who acted chief conductor since 2014, today is a guest conductor. He studied conducting at the Music Academy of Zagreb and was awarded the Rector's Prize upon graduation. He continued his studies at the Hans Swarowsky Academy in Milan and at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe and afterwards began lecturing at the Music Academy of Zagreb.

Pavle Dešpalj, honorary conductor

Pavle Despalj, conductor(1934), one of the most prestigious Croatian conductors, has received his first lessons in piano, violin, composition and conduction from his father, composer and conductor, Šime Dešpalj, in Zadar. He graduated in composition from the Zagreb Academy of Music under Stjepan Šulek.
